Meet John
The founder of Adore Pet Spa is a lifelong dog lover. With a professional background in veterinary medicine specializing in anesthesia, John brings a unique blend of passion and expertise to pet grooming. He created Adore Pet Spa to provide a safe, low-stress, one-on-one grooming experience directly at your home.
With over two decades of experience in the AKC dog show world, John has honed advanced grooming skills for a wide variety of breeds. He specializes in Poodles (and Doodles), Retrievers, and Terriers, and is an expert in specific techniques like hand-stripping and carding. John is particularly skilled at working with puppies, helping them become comfortable and confident with the grooming process. He also has a gift for supporting anxious or sensitive pets, making their experience as calm as possible.
With a background in CFA cat competitions, John also offers limited grooming for cats. And if you’re lucky, you might spot his co-pilot, Maya, a beautiful Standard Poodle who is always by his side.
